Talent search American Idol always managed to bring heart-breaking stories during the auditions for several seasons past. However, nothing beats the heart breaking story behind the anguish in the voice of competitor Chris Medina.
Milwaukee competitor Medina was able to capture the hearts of millions of fans of American Idol in the world after he revealed his tragic love story. Medina and his beautiful bride were the perfect couple until a traumatic accident and life changing brain injury resulted led to his girlfriend.
Medina appeared at the hearing from American Idol Wednesday night with a very touching story. He was very excited and was smiling brightly when he met the judges but turned serious when he said to them your reason for wanting to win American Idol.
The beautiful face of his girlfriend, Juliana Ramos was flashed across the screen. He then revealed that his fiancée has in a car accident, two months before the wedding planned and is now in a state very tragic. He stayed with her, despite the injury and the difficulties of caring for her.
"What kind of man would be if I walked about her when she needed me more?" he said the judges.
That alone would have been much movement to the judges until they heard Medina sing "breaking", even though only speak it closest to the judges and the millions of fans of American Idol. With a voice and a story like nothing could go wrong to Medina from hereon.
After the hearing, was invited by the judges to bring his bride, to personally tell you that Hollywood came to Medina. Juliana, who was confined to a wheelchair, was round in.
Judge Steven Tyler hugged her, put his hands on my face and Medina said has a beautiful voice, because he was singing with her.
"Through thick and think, even unto death in part, in sickness and in health, for better and for worse," said Medina.
The barista for 26 years, said doctors thought Ramos wouldn't do it, but he believed in her. "I felt that there is no way that she won't wake up."I didn't know what to expect after that, he said.
"If I were to make it to Hollywood I feel that it would take her to be happy about something," Medina said the judges. "I feel that I would have already won".
